cannot find setter
I can now reliably recreate this problem in my servlet.
It would appear that the Tomcat 4.0.3 JSP compiler is unable to recognize that the setter method is defined in a base class of the tag support class. This is annoying because it forces me to create an otherwise pointless function in every derived class to redirect the set to the method in the base class. For example I have been forced to
code the following:
public void setLang(String value) {
super.setLang(value);
}
I have tried subscribing to this list, through the web interface, but I have not received any messages from the list, not even the reflected copy of the post I sent earlier. I am merely hoping that this message, and the one I sent earlier, are getting through, because I am not getting any confirmation of that. Could someone check to see whether I have subscribed, and if not could they send me a message to tell me how I can subscribe if the web interface doesn't work?
