mp2 make test failures filter/both_str_con_add, protocol/echo, prot ocol/echo_filter

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Toby

1. Problem Description:

Trying to build mod_perl 2.0 on Solaris 8 and apache 2.0.49.
"make" works fine, but running "make test" produces failures in
filter/both_str_con_add.t, protocol/echo.t, and protocol/echo_filter.t.
No errors in t/logs/error_log (error_log added below).

Toby,

We have an exact same problem discussed on the modperl list. I'll CC you to
it, please subscribe to the modperl list if you aren't there already so you
can follow it. Thanks.
