PROBLEM WITH IDE

Hello,
My name is Manuel, I´m writing to you because I´m having many problems with
the IDE.
I´ m user of macOS, and I´m trying to download and install NetBeans 8.0.1,
but, when I´m in the installation tool, they tell me that the package is
not trusted; so I can´t install it.
I have to install that version because of the fact I must download the
plugin ruby-and-rails but when I install it, it doesn't appear to create a
new ruby project.
I trust you could please give me a solution to install NetBeans 8.0.1 or
NetBeans 12 with ruby.

PS: I have installed ruby and rails on my mac.

You might try to download the 8.0.1 zip distribution.

https://netbeans.org/downloads/8.0.1/zip.html just unzip-it and try to 
run that. Most probably use Java 8 to run that old IDE.
