getting error " could not determine the size of off_t" when buliding apr-0.9.17 on Solaris 8 -64 bit

Hi Smart Folks ,


        I am trying to build apr 0.9.17 in 64 bit on Solaris 8.

When i am trying to run the configure i am getting the following error

"checking which type to use for apr_off_t... configure: error: could not
determine the size of off_t"


Following is the configure command i used

 CC="/opt/SUNWspro/bin/CC" CFLAGS="-xarch=generic64" ./configure
--prefix=/usr/test/apr_64



Can some one please let me know how to fix this issue.
