synapse integration with eclipse

I am new to synapse, and was wondering what folks are using to develop for synapse.

Does a plugin for eclipse exist such that I can develop config and source in eclipse and then launch synapse or export my "config and source" to an external runtime synapse evironment.

I haven't managed to find anything like that so far. Does an eclipse plugin or the like exist?

AFAIK, there is no such a tool for Apache Synapse. Having said that, there
are some vendors utilizing Synapse as their mediation engine for ESB
<http://wso2.com/products/enterprise-service-bus/> and they have developed
a plugin/tool <http://wso2.com/products/developer-studio/>
for creating synapse configuration for eclipse.
