Re: Regression tests about to start on Apache Xalan-J 2.7.1

I take it 2.7.1 got held up again for some reason?

I don't know if anyone "manages" communication to the user community
about releases in the Xalan project, but I'd just like to point out it
tends to be a bit, um, erratic.

Does xalan work with the current version of BCEL?

If so, any chance of updating the version that is shipped with xalan?

Or shipping a jar that does not include it?

BTW, that should be (as=>asf):

http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xalan/java/tags/xalan-j_2_7_1

I think the only reason for the delay has been that the people who
volunteered to build and test the release (Brian Minchau and Yash Talwar)
have had lots of other high priority work demanding their attention at the
same time. My understanding is that Yash ran the tests, and Brian has
started, but not completed analyzing the results.

Yash, Brian: Is there anything you can add?

Thanks,

Henry
