Log4J on Gump...

Hi,

I am working with Jakarta Gump, and it is having "nag" difficulties right
now -- i.e. it can't send the e-mails it should.

A day or so ago Jakarta Log4j started using some Jakarta ORO classes, I
beleive in Chainsaw. The log4j descriptor only sets ORO as a dependency for
the "log4j-tests" project, not for "jakarta-log4j". As such log4j fails to
compile.

See: http://gump.dotnot.org/jakarta-log4j/index.html

Would you like ORO added as a dependency, or was this an unintentional
change?

BTW: For a while now "log4j-tests" has failed on Gump, some PatternTest
problem. If we fix the above you ought be able to see that problems at:

http://gump.dotnot.org/jakarta-log4j/log4j-tests.html

regards

Adam
