https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=124690

          Issue ID: 124690
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: "The last time you opened OpenOffice it unexpectedly
                    quit..." Screen will not close
           Product: General
           Version: 4.0.1
          Hardware: Mac
                OS: Mac OSX, 10.9
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3

A Screenshot demonstrating the problem even when re-installing the App.

I was previously using Open Office 4.0 or 3.4 and Open Office unexpectedly
terminated. Unfortunately thinking this because I was running too many
applications I simply ignored this. However I have since discovered it has
rendered Open Office almost inoperable.

The Problem:
- Each time the application suite is loaded the error message "The last time
you opened OpenOffice it unexpectedly quit..." displays with the option of
"Don't reopen" and "Reopen".
- When I click "Reopen" nothing happens and the dialogue remains
- When I click "Don't reopen" nothing happens and the dialogue remains
- I am unable to use any other dialogue boxes within Open Office while this box
remains and there appears to be no way to stop the dialogue displaying.
- In short this dialogue displays, you are unable to save, open format or use
any other tools although bizarrely you can type text/numbers into any of the
applications simply by moving the box out of the way.

What doesn't Work:
- Rebooting
- Re-installing the latest version of Open Office
- Deleting the application including the App files stored under
Library/User/.../Application Support/OpenOffice then re-installing; the error
message still displays (see screen shot)
- Force quitting the application on load to see if this will 'recreate' the
events that brought the window into existence.

Currently using a Mac Mini on OSX 10.9; As you can imagine this is a little
frustrating and renders open office unusable at the moment. If someone knows
where the crash log is perhaps deleting it will remove the issue? It must be
stored elsewhere other than under Library/Users/.../Application Support/Open
Office/ otherwise this issue would have ended with the removal of the files
(you would expect).

Apologies if this is a duplicate post I did search but I didn't find any
listed, and this is my first bug post so apologies if I've missed anything
basic!

Duplicated of Bug 119006
Bug known since 3.4,
http://www.openoffice.org/development/releases/3.4.1.html#AOO3.4.1ReleaseNotes-KnownIssues

On recent versions of Mac OS X it might happen, especially after a "Force
quit", that the following error message appears: "Restore Windows - The
application OpenOffice.org was forced to quit while trying to restore its
windows. Do you want to try to restore its windows again?". If you cannot get
rid of it: Option-click the "Go" menu; choose "Library" from the menu to open
the folder in the Finder; click on the folder "Saved Application State"; delete
the file "org.openoffice.script.savedState". See bug 119006 for more
information.
