Borislav Iordanov commented on HDFS-15721:
------------------------------------------
I run into this in 3.3. It appears fixed in trunk already where the username is replaced in the regex from the configuration.

> Key: HDFS-15721
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-15721
> Project: Hadoop HDFS
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: dfs
> Affects Versions: 3.3.0
> Reporter: Borislav Iordanov
> Priority: Minor

> The TestHDFSCLI unit tests rely on regular expressions in testHDFSConf.xml to validate the output of client commands like "ls" which include the OS username. The regexes there don't allow for a username to contain the dash character.
