[jira] [Created] (SOLR-3556) Provide LBHttpSolrServer based on Http
Components in Solr 3.x
Andreas Hubold created SOLR-3556:
------------------------------------
Summary: Provide LBHttpSolrServer based on Http Components in Solr 3.x
Key: SOLR-3556
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-3556
Project: Solr
Issue Type: Bug
Components: clients - java
Affects Versions: 3.6
Reporter: Andreas Hubold
Fix For: 3.6.1
With SOLR-2020 Solr 3.6 provides a HttpSolrServer based on Apache Http Components. But the LBHttpSolrServer still uses commons-httpclient.
It would be cool if you could provide a loadbalancing implementation based on HttpComponents as well.
