Overlay in landscape pdf

Hi all,
i would like to overlay a pdf in landscape orientation, but in 2.0.1 the overlay items appear rotated.

Is this a bug, or is there a way to customize Overlayers behaviour ?

best regards,
 david

That is not enough information. The best would be to open a JIRA issue
with both PDFs, and the code you used to fix this, and the suggestion
you mention for 1.7.

AW: Overlay in landscape pdf

Posted by "Croe.David" <cr...@inside-online.de>.
Hi,
after closer inspection of the pdf's, I've found the cause of the problem.
The problem is that the overlay pdf uses a matrix which transforms the origin to another corner and page.Rotate=0.
the other pdf uses a matrix which is based on page.Rotate=90.
After searching the web I found out, that someone else had the same problem and has proposed a customization for v1.7.
If I customize the matrix for the overlay it works.

It would be helpful if classes in the pdfbox project like Overlay would supply some extension points. All "useful" methods are private.

best regards,
  david
