[jira] [Created] (KATO-13) Create demo web application that use the
Apache Kato Dump generation process
Create demo web application that use the Apache Kato Dump generation process
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: KATO-13
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KATO-13
Project: Kato
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: API
Reporter: Antonio Sanso
Priority: Minor
Currently Kato has a simple web app to create diagnostic scenerios in tomcat aka kato.demo.tomcat. This is web server specific (Tomcat in this case).
It would be nice to have another web application that eats its own food as shown here [0].
I will attach a simple web app (that is web application agnostic using the method described in [0]).
It is just a simple show case implementing the first example :
DumpFactory.getDefault().dump();
But can be expanded in order to include the other examples

Thanks for that Antonio. Apologies for getting to this so long after you posted it - I have been AFK for a couple of weeks. I'll see about what to do about your contribution soon.

Thanks Stuart.
As said it is just a starting point. My idea is to extend the demo app not just with the examples in [0] but potentially include also example for thread dumps using the org.apache.kato.jdump package.
WDYT?
