New committer and PMC member: Michael Dürig
Hi,
The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Chemistry has asked Michael Dürig to become a committer and member of the PMC, and we are pleased to announce that he has accepted.
Michael contributed the OpenCMIS JCR server implementation and will maintain it in the future.
Being a committer enables easier contribution to the project since there is no need to go via the patch submission process. This should enable better productivity.
Being a PMC member enables assistance with the management and to guide the direction of the project.
Welcome Michael!

Hi,
Thanks for offering me committership, I'm happy to be able to contribute
directly. Beside maintenance of the JCR bridge, my contributions will be
most likely a bit on and of depending on the actual business
requirements of my employer (Adobe).
