its taking more time before boot.i,e before it actually start booting.yes i agree with your comments it has to convert it into different format and this need to be communicated explicitly to end user.
if the size of the template is more then it will take more time to deploy because it has to convert in to different format.are there any parameters to fine tune performance during deploy VM operations.
