Minutes: JDO TCK Conference Call Wednesday December 13, 9:30 AM Pacific Time (PST)

Posted by Craig Russell <ap...@gmail.com>.
Attendees: Michael Bouschen, Tilmann Zäschke, Craig Russell

Next meeting: Thursday December 21 9:30 AM PST

Agenda:

1. JDO-766 "Support more JDBC-aware databases in JDO TCK" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-766

No news. Volunteer needed.

2. New JIRA JDO-769 "Revise PMFMapMapTest test cases using two class loaders" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-769

No news. Volunteer needed.

3. Need to resolve specification lead issue now that Craig is no longer working for Oracle.

4. JDO 3.1: Need to go through change lists in JIRA for 3.1 RC1 and 3.1 to prepare JCP Change Log

5. Should we switch from svn to git?

The reason to make jdo available via git is to remove a possible barrier to new contributors.

There are several alternatives if we decide to offer git as an alternative to svn: migrating all the code to git; creating a read-only git mirror; creating a read-write bridge.

AI Michael file a JIRA to discuss alternatives.
