Release 2.1?
Hi Lenya devs,
how about releasing Lenya 2.1? I'd suggest to clean up a bit beforehand
(e.g. remove all the JCR stuff that will probably never be used).
WDYT?

Agreed. There is a bit of licensing that we need to take care of as
well. I see Florent added jQuery, so we need to put something in the
NOTICE file I believe stating that we are using the MIT license. I can
get that done over the next couple of days.

I chased the Dev again as we have now created the module and would be a
shame to not be able to include it with Lenya:

So I think maybe we are in business?

Thanks for looking into and asking the dev. I would think we would need
legal to check out the license before we shipped it. It would be far
more preferable for it to just use a standard approved license, such as
MIT. At least with a standard license, you know where you're at, even if
it isn't a friendly one.

So far we've implemented:
https://bitbucket.org/freshcode/jquery.contenteditable
But it's license isn't helpful:
https://bitbucket.org/freshcode/jquery.contenteditable/issue/2/weird-license
I emailed the developer to ask about the possibility of an Apache License:

I don't think this is compatible with the Apache way though.
We are going to add another jquery editor which it MIT licensed and
probably also Aloha.

I agree with Florent that it might be a bit much to include in this
release. However, that doesn't mean it couldn't be included soon. What
editors are you looking at? Are any of them license friendly?

We've been doing some work to integrate editors that use html5 content
editable tags.
Anyone interested in reviewing for inclusion in this release?

yep I'm +1 with that.
Also - during the "sping cleaning", what do you think about switch the
2.X dev branch into the trunk (and maybe move the current trunk to
cocoon2.2 test) ?
Have a good day.
