Cassandra nodes in multiple data centers

Hi All,

is configured such that each row is replicated across multiple data
centers."

So, while using multiple data centers, is it required to have almost same
number of Cassandra nodes in each data center. If not, would it generate key
hotspots?

Right.  And ideally you want nodes to alternate DCs on the ring (first
node by token in DC1, second in DC2, third in DC1, etc.)
