qpid-demo project

Hi all,

I would like to take the demo for AMQP 0-10, as I've been reading on that.
Buddika, are you with it?

Regards,
Senaka

Currently the only C++ broker, python, c++ and java brokers support 0-10 (on
trunk).
So the person who wants to work with 0-10 version will have to work with the
above languages.

For 0-9 I believe we have support from all languages (I stand to be
corrected).
So the person who is doing the demo for 0-9 can you ruby and .NET in
addition to the above languages.

Also I suggest that each person work on a different project.
Ex. one person can do the stock quote demo and the other a rendering farm
..etc.

This will give each of you good exposure and the ability to work with the
full set of languages.

Regards,

Rajith

I don't mind .NET, as well as other technologies. However, if you do, I
don't know how this could be sorted out. Perhaps some one on the list might
know. Now that we have one more week, I think we can probably re-think about
the way work needs to be spread out. I'm ok with anything, and use both
Ubuntu (Gutsy) and Windows XP.

There's no need to run Windows for the .Net stuff, it works fine with Mono. ;)

Hay Senaka,

Yea, I'm thrilled to work with another guy from my university :)

Btw, I prefer to work with Python, Ruby and Java demos. I'm having some
aversion to .NET part because it will make me go back to windows, which I
abandoned a long while ago ;) But overall I"m OK with anything. What are
your preferences ?

Cheers
Laknath
