[~wangsaeu], I couldn't repro this on the latest build.
managix create -n yingyi -c clusters/local/local.xml works fine for me.

Can you list your directory structures, e.g., what is the working directory that you are in?  

Did you follow the steps in https://ci.apache.org/projects/asterixdb/install.html?
