[jira] [Commented] (FALCON-74) Falcon CLI needs to be more robust in handling trailing spaces

Hi Grant, I tried to replicate this, but was not successful. We use commons cli for parsing the argument and the command line switches. Checked the source for that lib and it seems to be handling spaces around arguments correctly. Can you help provide exact steps to reproduce the issue?

Thanks

> CLI tends to fail when there is a trailing space. For instance:
> [root@cos6-07 falcon-0.3-incubating]#bin/falcon entity -type feed -submit -file gliu/replicating-feed.xml
> Error: File not found:
> The trailing space above after the .xml breaks parsing. Probably needs a trim for params or something
