The license of the underlying JavaScript Overlib library is "Artistic
license", as you can see from their site.

I need to check whether this is compatible with the Apache license, and it
if it is, will publish it under ASL (the Apache license)

I was thinking if anyone can help with that topic here or I should turn to
the Apache mailing list?

I know its a browser issue, just wanted to make it clear to everyone that
the new component is not immune.

When I played with Javascript some time ago, I has exactly the same problem
... Select components render on top of everything ... I don't understand why
MS don't fix a bug like this ...

DatePicker and Select Lists (WAS: NEW HELP COMPONENT)

Posted by Per Norrman <pe...@telia.com>.
Hi,

Have you tried the latest DatePicker with regards
to the select list (not) being on top? At least on
IE 6.0 this problem should be fixed.

The help widget has the same problem as the Date Picker, i.e. selects render
on top.
At least they do in IE 5.5

Re: NEW HELP COMPONENT

Yes, that's right - the source can be find in Tacos.

There is no licence agreement, but you guys can presume that it is LGPL
A standard Java Script library is used -
Overlib(http://www.bosrup.com/web/overlib/)

The Help component is just a shot if Overlib JavaScript library could be
useful.
I intend to make the component more general and help component will be only
a use case.
