they are not strange characters
they are greek characters we have translate just the titles
(i know the r too greek for you)

This came also to my mind when reading the commit message. The "strange
characters" really look like greek letters. ;-)

I could be wrong, but I recall those strange characters showing up as
Greek characters in the sample.. you might want to consult with Stavros
Kounis about this, since they might be part of the i18n.
