[jira] Created: (SMX4-433) Provide integration with security framework

Provide integration with security framework
--------------------------------------------

                 Key: SMX4-433
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/SMX4-433
             Project: ServiceMix 4
          Issue Type: Improvement
    Affects Versions: 4.1.0
            Reporter: Gert Vanthienen

SM-1915 adds a basic JMX authorization callback to ServiceMix 3. We would like to have the same functionality for ServiceMix 4, but preferably using a more established security framework and integrating that into the container. Two options that come to mind are:
- [Shiro | http://incubator.apache.org/shiro/]
- [Spring Security | http://static.springsource.org/spring-security/site/|

Camel has a similar outstanding ticket (cfr. https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/CAMEL-313), so by the time we implement this we should also make sure to integrate nicely with the work done at that end.
