Concurrent Access

Hi folks!

After being absent from this a list for a long time I now try to get a
better idea of the Jackrabbit architecture. One thing I was wondering
about is concurrent access to the repository. Can someone explain how
Jackrabbit e.g. ensures that no two people change the same data at the
same time?
