This RC did not receive enough votes to pass, I've fixed the bug pointed
out by Houston and will be moving on to RC2. Thanks!

The 8x line (i.e. 8.11 bug-fix releases) will continue to be released as
they were when the projects were still joined. This was one of the
concessions made when splitting the projects, since otherwise there wouldnt
be a reasonable ways for releasing 8.x versions post-split.

I may be confused but I thought that solr pmc can only release solr now?
