Unfortunately, two import statements from my patch didn't seem to make it in, causing the compile to fail:

import java.awt.Insets;
import org.apache.commons.jelly.Tag;


I did confirm that if these import statements are added the fix works as expected.

Description:
The <gbc> tag doesn't inherit properties from enclosing <gbc> tags, and it doesn't allow insets to be specified easily.
