SURBL using with spam assassin?
Hi All,
Has anybody tried using this new surbl with spamassassin yet? Sounds
much more interesting than just a normal dnsbl... When will
spamassassin support it out of the 'box'. ;)

Hi Matthew,
It works great for me, I'm running the sc, be and ws lists. At least one of those
tests are hitting about 50% of all spam.
I believe SURBL should be available as a plugin to SA 3.0 when it comes out.
Cheers,
Matt

Yes, I use it, it works great. Several other users have posted similar
praise, check the archives.
I went from about 2.0 - 3.0% FN rate to about 1.0 - 0.5% FN rate on my spam
when I installed SURBL. (I use all three lists, but be.surbl.org is being
merged into ws.surbl.org as we speak).

Yes, it is.. IMO it's not really a replacement for DNSBLs however, it's a
complimentary technology.

3.0, which is slated to be the next release.
