Matt,

Thanks for your ticket.

However what you describe doesn't seem to be normal behaviour for Guacamole, and on the face of it I wonder if it's possibly a configuration or installation issue rather than a bug?

Your issue may also be a duplicate; please have a look at https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-1008  In particular have a look at the suggestions around how to find more information and/or resolve the issue. You will see that a rebuild fixed that particular problem.

If you follow that detail and still have trouble you could initially direct your enquiry to the user@guacamole.apache.org mailing list: [http://guacamole.apache.org/support/]

Should you do, it would be useful to include log detail from around the time it crashes. Also please include information on how you've installed Guacamole (eg. bare metal, VM, Docker), the version of FreeRDP in use, how much RAM and CPU is allocated etc.

> I am experiencing a severe memory leak in the guacd process.
> Generally speaking it slowly uses up more and more memory, but if a user is streaming video it uses hundreds of a meg per second until there's no memory or swap left, then the server falls over and kicks everyone out, they reconnect, and we start all over again.
> This seems to be happening several times a day.
>
> This is Guacamole 1.1.0 running on Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS, using RDP.
