Axis2C -build for Revision 513713---nmake dist build ----Getting error while starting the axis server "axis2_http_server" for namke dist build

Hi,

 

            Installed Versions used for the build:

*	Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003
*	Apache server:  2.0.59
*	Downloaded version for build: Revision 513713 from
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/webservices/axis2/trunk/c/

 

 

1.	while doing nmake install the build was successful 

Server starts (axis2_http_server)

          

2.	while doing nmake dist the build was successful

But while starting the server getting error message from the axis2.log
file as

 

      "[Fri Mar 02 16:38:21 2007] [error]
..\..\modules\core\transport\http\server\simple_axis2_server\http_server
_main.c(169) Server creation failed: Error code: 34 :: Repository
Listener initialization failed"

 

Can any one clarify what could be the cause and how to make the server
start for nmake dist build?

 

Please clarify the following setup for ISAPI filter in IIS from the
document "IISforAxis2C.txt"

 

"Using the IIS management console, add isapi_redirect.dll as a filter in
your IIS/PWS web site. 

The name of the filter should reflect its task (like axis2_redirector),
its executable must 

be our c:\axis2\lib\mod_iis.dll "

 

Not clear about the add isapi_redirect.dll as a filter in your IIS/PWS
web site

For example 

 I have to create a filter for axis2_redirector and its executable
should be axis2_mod_IIS.dll with necessary registry entries as per the
IISforAxis2C.txt

            Is it correct?

Hi,
     I think the name isapi_redirect.dll is ambiguous here. Simply what you
need to do is add the mod_axis2_IIS.dll as a filter to the IIS. This can be
done using the IIS management console. The name of the filter does not
matter.
