[jira] [Created] (INFRA-8939) New Australian mirror.

Matthew Taylor created INFRA-8939:
-------------------------------------

             Summary: New Australian mirror.
                 Key: INFRA-8939
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-8939
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Mirrors
            Reporter: Matthew Taylor

Hi team,

We've setup a new mirror on a 1Gbit link, which is hosted in Sydney, Australia.

Info is below based from your template:

------------------------------------
URL of mirror: http://apache.mirror.digitalpacific.com.au/
Rsync mirror: rsync://mirror.digitalpacific.com.au/apache/

Country where the mirror is located: Sydney, Australia.
Contact email address: networking@digitalpacific.com.au

Update frequency: Every 6 hours.
Rsync repository used: rsync.apache.org::apache-dist
Rsync options: -avz --delete --safe-links

Apache HTTP server as requested: Yes.
Subscribed the contact address to mirrors@apache.org : Yes.
At the moment, I rsync from the IP address: 101.0.101.66 and 2401:fc00:0:20e::2

Rsync cron's are indeed checked on a regular basis!
------------------------------------

As a side note, if you see our IP's in the logs for rsync.eu.apache.org, we was testing performance vs rsync.us.apache.org and rsync.apache.org (which resolves to the US IP address for us either way).

Please let us know if you require anything else.

Thanks!

Regards,
Matthew.
