[jira] [Created] (NIFI-5057) Add output as CSV to ExecuteSQL processor

scott wilburn created NIFI-5057:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Add output as CSV to ExecuteSQL processor
                 Key: NIFI-5057
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-5057
             Project: Apache NiFi
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Extensions
    Affects Versions: 1.5.0
            Reporter: scott wilburn

The ExecuteSQL processor produces output as AVRO format only. It would be much more useful if it had an option to output as CSV also, similar to the SelectHiveQL processor does. This is immensely more useful when the source database uses types that are not compatible with standard JDBC or AVRO format, such as the datetimeoffset data type used by SQL Server.
