Annoying bug with read only directories
Hi guys,
I'm running svn 1.4.6 and when I tried to add a folder that is read only,
it breaks. Not just because it cannot create the .svn in the sub-folder,
but because after that, I just cannot do "svn commit".
I did not see a command that would help in resolving this problem...
What I had to do it edit the .svn/entries files and remove the name of the
folder from there (everything from the name up to the next ^L)
That resolved my issue. That is, after I also made all the folders and
sub-folders read-write able.
Also this case should be rare, it happened to me because I wanted to check
in the FCKeditor for a website I'm working on. The package includes two
read-only folders which thus I could not check in as is.
Thank you.
