About time for 2.0.49?
Hi,
It's been a while since last release. I'd like to volunteer for
the RM task for 2.0.49, starting the release cycle monday.
Thoughts?

yes, way too many fixes building up
a couple of nags:
There are some very simple mod_isapi fixes waiting for a backport, needing
another vote.
I'd also like some opinions in STATUS on whether or not we should wait for BeOS
and OS/2 MPMs to support mpm state query before all the other 2.0 users can get
the piped logger fixes. (No interest here in trying to add support to MPMs I
can't compile/run and then trying to get approval to backport such questionable
code.)

I suppose, you're talking about the fsize/flastmod test? It should be marked
as TODO. This test has an unresolved problem regarding different outputs of
C-strftime and POSIX::strftime (and possibly different fsize abbrev
computations).
So a failing test at this point is OK.

The same here for linux.

I didn't run into that problem (fresh checkout of httpd-test from a couple
of hours ago)

The same error here.

+1 for GA.
Passes httpd-test on Solaris with the following caveats/bugs in httpd-test:
- SSL tests were failing until rm'd t/conf/ssl/ca and reran ./t/TEST -config
- t/modules/includes.t test 49 is failing; however, I think it's a bug in
httpd-test. That test is calling single_space(), but that function is
corrupting the response such that it fails (removes too many spaces).
Time permitting, I'll place this build up on minotaur tonight.
Thanks! -- justin

Forgot to mention: the tagname is STRIKER_2_0_49_PRE1.

http://httpd.apache.org/dev/dist is where the tarballs of RC 1 reside.
Please test and provide feedback.

Sander will be around in about 1 hour from now. Sorry it couldn't be
sooner.

Seems fair.

I'll review it before the tag.

Greg is away from the net until next week.
I doubt I'll be able to do anything with a test tarball before tomorrow
afternoon, but I'll keep my eye open for it just in case.

+1.
If Sander doesn't get around to it by say 3PM PST (~6 hours from now), I'll
lay down a 2.0.49_PRE1 tag and build/post the tarballs. If I'm feeling
chivalrous, I'll also backport anything in STATUS that has 3 +1s before
tagging. I'd really like the piped logger fixes in, but we need a 3rd +1 to
backport without OS/2 and BeOS support. Anyone?
Jeff/Greg: any chance of being available to post a 2.0.49 candidate on
minotaur? I could do so late late tonight... -- justin
