To reproduce, go to "Tools->NetBeans Platforms->Add platform" and select nbbuild/netbeans in your local repository. The folder is recognized as a platform and I can add it as a NetBeans platform, but the modules list is either empty or contains only one single module "RCP Platform". No error messages.
