Strange mod_status problem report

I received a report which indicated that when the PHP3 module was used the
scoreboard would not register that the various httpd processes shut down
properly.  I don't seem to be able to reproduce it myself.  The full

Any ideas?

You need to ask him for an example of what he sees.

He may just be confused by empty scoreboard slots left with no process in
them.
