Platform:
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build
7601 (x64)
Apache Open Office 3.4.1 AOO341m1 Build 9593 Rev 1372282

My test:

I created a table with two text fields and two decimal fields, the first named
"amount" with number formatting -1234.12 (0.00 as format code) and the second
named "fraction" with fraction formatting 1234 10/81 (#?? /?? as format code)

I then added some rows in the table using both the map Table Data View and a
form generated by the wizard and everything works fine.

So I think that either the problem was not real or has been resolved.
Then set status to RESOLVED/IRREPRODUCIBLE

If you are still seeing this problem after upgrading to AOO 3.4.1 please post
the details and we can reopen the report.
