[jira] [Resolved] (DISPATCH-187) CMake must choose the Python2 libraries when Python3 is available

Jiri Daněk resolved DISPATCH-187.
---------------------------------
    Fix Version/s: (was: Backlog)
                   1.15.0
       Resolution: Invalid

This issue is no longer valid. Dispatch supports Python 3 since version 1.2.0 (DISPATCH-965). The CMakeLists follows the recommendations needed to pick the same version of interpreter and libraries.

Picking Python 3 is actually preferable nowadays in 2021, IMO.

Please reopen if you disagree.

> If the python3 development packages are present, the Dispatch CMake file chooses version 3 which fails to build. Dispatch uses the python2 extension API.
