About Creating an Open Collective for Groovy community

Hi all,

How about creating an open collective for Groovy community? (
https://opencollective.com )

Groovy community can use the money to sponsor contributors to fix more
issues and add more features for Groovy.

      Here is a sample: https://opencollective.com/generator-jhipster

      Thoughts?

Cheers,
Daniel.Sun

Hi Jochen

Paul has sent an email off to VP fundraising at Apache to see if they
have any advice.

If open collective is allowed by ASF, groovy can evolve faster with the
donated money(e.g. MOP2, polishing generics in STC, async/await, etc.)

Cheers,
Daniel.Sun
