[jira] [Created] (CASSANALYTICS-214) Compare token range assignments in TokenRangeMapping.equals

Yifan Cai created CASSANALYTICS-214:
---------------------------------------

Summary: Compare token range assignments in TokenRangeMapping.equals
                 Key: CASSANALYTICS-214
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANALYTICS-214
             Project: Apache Cassandra Analytics
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Writer
            Reporter: Yifan Cai

TokenRangeMapping.equals compares the partitioner, instances and pending instances, but not the range-to-replica maps that hashCode includes. CassandraTopologyMonitor therefore only cancels a job when the instance set or pending set changes, and a range reassignment that starts and finishes between two 5-second polls goes unnoticed. This change makes equals consistent with hashCode by comparing the range assignments.
