Maven eclipse plugin depends on Maven reactor to figure out the recursive dependencies. Artifact dependencies must be resolvable through remote maven repository or local maven repository for maven eclipse plugin to generate .classpath file. If we publish a snapshot of Ambari to maven repository, this problem will be resolved automatically. There is no code changes required. I don't have access to publish artifact.
