Re: Using strut in new application release
It depends on if your custom servlets would interfere with the Struts
ActionServlet. I would replace everything with Struts if there is a logical
mapping between your current custom components and Struts components. You
could also look into using Struts modules to replace your app piece by
piece.

RE: Using strut in new application release
Posted by Vinh Tran <vi...@processintelligence.com>.
The pros and cons are based strictly on your own situation. As much as we
like to think Struts is the answer to everything, it is not. You need to
evaluate if Struts will provide you things that your current MVC framework
does not. Sadly also in the real world $$$ is always a factor. Does your
budget allow for a rewrite to Struts?
If in the end you feel Struts is beneficial to your environment, then
welcome aboard the Struts bandwagon! And I would also agree with David, try
not to intermix two frameworks if possible.
