Summary: Specifying of "margin-left" for <table> causes shifting
                    of table content.
           Product: Fop
           Version: 0.92
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: fop-dev@xmlgraphics.apache.org
        ReportedBy: iistomin@ciklum.net

If I try to specify "margin-left" property for table the output is invalid.
Content in table cells is shifted and it seems that difference is identical to
margin length.
It seems that margin-left property is inherited (just assumption) but according
to XSL-FO spec. it is not inheritable.

Actually your interpretation of the XSL-FO spec is incorrect. The behaviour
you are observing is indent inheritence. This topic is discussed in some
detail on the following Wiki page:

http://wiki.apache.org/xmlgraphics-fop/IndentInheritance

Please, if you have any further questions relating to FOP's behaviour can you
ask them on the fop-user mailing list, instead of just raising bugs.

Thank you,

Chris
