[jira] [Updated] (VCL-687) Problems occur if /etc/issue is
configured in Linux images
Andy Kurth updated VCL-687:
---------------------------
Description: If /etc/issue is configured in a Linux image and sshd_config is configured with a Banner directive, the contents of /etc/issue are displayed whenever an SSH command is executed on the Linux computer. This can throw off many other subroutines. For example, if the contents of a file are retireved via the cat command the output returned will contain the contents of /etc/issue and then the contents of the file.
