Clearcase UCM - To use Cleartool update

Hi All,

i want to use clearcase ucm with continuum. but while going thru
documentation at http://maven.apache.org/scm/clearcase.html

it sounds like if i have ucm implementation, my view will be checked out /
removed and created every time i run the build. instead i just want it to do
cleartool update i don't want it to remove every time.

is there a way to implement this?

Please help me
