We would like the {{xInclude}} mechanism to manipulate the ActiveMQ Artemis configuration at runtime. In doing so, we could dynamically and permanently add individual acceptors on demand by afterwards calling reloadConfiguration via JMX.

Our broker.xml therefore looks like this:

</acceptors> {code}
The problem with that is, that xInclude has a feature called [Base URI Fixup|https://www.w3.org/TR/xinclude-11/#base] which must add an xml:base attribute to the inclusion target. Unfortunately the XML schema for the configuration file does not allow the so-called XML special attributes for the transportType.

Therefore, we propose adding the element {{<xsd:attributeGroup ref="xml:specialAttrs"/>}} to the type definition in artemis-configuration.xsd.
