problem with TcpTunnelGui
Hi All,
I got a problem debugging my SOAP program using TcpTunnelGui. Both SOAP
service and its client are running on the same machine where the tunnel is
running. I want to use the tunnel from within my client. In the client code,
I instantiate a tunnel object as follows:
TcpTunnelGui tunnelGui = new TcpTunnelGui(8011, //listen port
"localhost",
8080 // tunnel port
);
Later in the code I try to establish a connection to the tunnel on port
8011. The tunnel GUI pops up but nothing appears in it. The client fails
fails with the following error message:
[SOAPException: faultCode=SOAP-ENV:Client; msg=error opening socket:
Connection refused: no further information;
targetException=java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: error opening socket:
Connection refused: no further information] at
org.apache.soap.transport.http.SOAPHTTPConnection.send(SOAPHTTPConnection.ja
va:115) at org.apache.soap.rpc.Call.invoke(Call.java:145) at
magic.MagicSoapClient.main(MagicSoapClient.java:58) Exception in thread
"main"
I noticed that I get the same message if the tunnel object is not
instantiated at all. This program works without the tunnel when all traffic
goes through port 8080. What's the problem?
thx
Alex
