[ANNOUNCE] Apache SkyWalking Java Agent 8.12.0 released

Hi all,

Apache SkyWalking Team is glad to announce the first release of Apache
SkyWalking Java Agent 8.12.0.

SkyWalking: APM (application performance monitor) tool for distributed systems,
especially designed for microservices, cloud native and
container-based (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos) architectures.

The Java Agent for Apache SkyWalking, which provides the native
tracing/metrics/logging abilities for Java projects.

This release contains a number of new features, bug fixes and
improvements compared to
version 8.11.0(last release). The notable changes since 8.12.0 include:

1. Add plugin to support Tomcat 10.x.
2. Add plugin to support Micronaut(HTTP Client/Server) 3.2.x-3.6.x
3. Upgrade jedis plugin to support 3.x(stream),4.x
4. Add plugin to support NATS Java client 2.14.x-2.15.x

Hi,

I’ll note this release doesn’t follow ASF policy as it contain 3rd party software in the release but this is not mentioned in the LICENSE file. It would be best if you corrected this.
