heads up for upcoming changes that deprecate features and functionality
The following is a list of features that were planned for removal from
openwhisk before incubation. I'm positing there as a heads up in case new
discussion is warranted now.
1. removing node 0.12 support (
https://github.com/openwhisk/openwhisk/issues/1243)
2. removing swit 2 support (
https://github.com/openwhisk/openwhisk/issues/1459)
3. removing whisk context object from node js runtimes (this affects
migration for packages including
https://github.com/openwhisk/openwhisk/issues/1690,
https://github.com/openwhisk/openwhisk-catalog/issues/157, possibly others).
Additionally there is a schema change for how identities are stored (
https://github.com/openwhisk/openwhisk/issues/1107).
@csantana, others anything else we should raise here?
