We have just confirmed in *0.27.0-0.2.190.ubuntu1404*, the problem persists. We should modify permissions of following files in release:
/usr/bin/mesos-init-wrapper 770 --> 775
/etc/default/mesos 640 --> 644
/etc/default/mesos-master 640 --> 644
/etc/default/mesos-slave 640 --> 644
However, where is Mesos release maintained?
