The current design of the Hive website (hive.apache.org) was inherited from the Hadoop project. I'm not a big fan, and apparently [other people|https://twitter.com/Prinzhorn/status/294516153475280898] feel the same way.

I propose we make the website look more like [Mahout's|http://mahout.apache.org/].
